sanovation and healthbank announce partnership
Two Swiss start-ups bound together. healthbank, which developed an innovative solution to store, manage and exchange health data securely – and Sanovation, specialized in innovative healthcare applications, with the award winning app CatchMyPain, are entering a partnership.
Thanks to this partnership, chronic pain patients will benefit by measuring the course of their chronic pain and getting a valuable insight to the efficiency of their treatment plan. During this process and beyond, data will always remain in complete ownership of the user. Long-term storage of the data and giving the user the chance not only to share their data with health care professionals, family and friends but also to build their own inimitable medical history. If the user wish, they can take part in research projects by making their data available to research institutions. A combination of two innovative companies for the benefit of the user.
healthbank is the world’s first people-owned health data transaction platform connecting data sources from all facets of the healthcare ecosystem and rewarding participants for sharing their data for research purposes. Based in Switzerland, healthbank leverages Swiss neutrality, trust and data privacy to enable users, researchers and organizations with large data sets to unlock the value of health and medical data on its independent, global transaction platform.
Sanovation AG was founded in 2011. One of its founders had been suffering from chronic pain for several years. In search of a suitable treatment to relieve his pain he went from one doctor to another, trying to figure out the cause for his pain and what to do about it. It was tiring, difficult, and above all frustrating. Tracking pain with a first prototype was already a huge success in the treatment. Over the years Sanovation published the award winning apps CatchMyPain and PainCompanion which are used by over 200’000 users as of today.
